About Connor

Connor specializes in branding, online strategy and lead generation aided by experiences in marketing, advertising and public relations.

Combining creative talent with a strong entrepreneurial drive, Connor's interests include branding and identity, leadership development, advertising, strategic planning and public relations.

Connor's passion for design and creative business strategy brought him to the UVic Commerce Students' Society (CSS) where he plans to build his industry network and gain valuable experience from both the agency and client perspectives of the advertising industry. After turning down admission from other universities such as ASU's W.P. Carey School of Business, he decided to stay on the west coast at the University of Victoria's Faculty of Business in the Bachelor of Commerce program where he is currently in his senior year.

Connor continues to work for Calgary-based WestJet – a company with Canada's most admired corporate culture – while building a stronger presence for the CSS on campus and in the community. Connor has strong leadership and communication skills and looks forward to contributing to the UVic experience as president of the CSS. Connor holds a private pilots license and enjoys playing the drums, surfing, golfing and playing hockey.

Born and raised in Victoria, Connor has lived in Australia and has family in Calgary and Phoenix. He enjoys traveling and plans to live in Milan or Vienna while on exchange next year. He strongly believes that one must be happy in what they do and he enjoys using creative ideas to drive innovation and further the collective goal of an organization.
